I looked into multiple contractors for our renovation and knew Mark would be a great fit as soon as we met. We purchased our home knowing that we were going to renovate the dated and non-functional basement. During the initial walk through, it was apparent that Mark was extremely knowledgeable, experienced, and professional. He was able to give us suggestions on how to maximize our space, options on how to accomplish what we envisioned, and details around what the job would entail. But what was more important to me was how genuine, honest, and thoughtful he was. With us being new to the neighbourhood, Mark went above and beyond introducing us to neighbourhood contacts and orienting us to the neighbourhood. Mark would check in regularly and made us feel safe and welcome in our new neighbourhood. Mark’s attention and concern did not waver throughout the renovation and in fact, he became a great friend.
Mark and the team at Shakespeare Homes have been a pleasure to work with. All the work that was done beautifully. All the people who came to work on the renovation were professional and courteous. We are extremely satisfied with our renovated space – it looks amazing and is better than what we had imagined.
