Queens Heritage is a whole-home renovation of a North Vancouver character home, carried out with deep respect for the craftsmanship that makes it special. Rather than reinventing the house, the work set out to preserve its warmth and charm while making it easier to live in, so that a home built generations ago could continue to serve a family well.

The kitchen was opened up to connect with the living spaces and give the family more room to gather, while original features like the stone fireplace were kept at the heart of the home. Throughout, finishes and details were chosen to feel at home in a heritage setting rather than to stand apart from it.

The result is a house that still feels entirely like itself, only more comfortable and more welcoming. By honouring the home’s history while thoughtfully improving its flow and function, Queens Heritage shows how a careful renovation can carry a character home forward for many more years of family life.
